The Home’s Recreation Center is a state of the art facility open to many outside community groups and agencies as an important part of the overall outreach program. Nearly 2000 community youth use the facility each year. The only basis for inclusion . . . is need.

Offering many amenities the Recreation Center is complete with:

• gameroom
• weight and fitness room
• indoor swimming pool
• complete woodshop
• outdoor tennis
• outdoor basketball courts
• outdoor multi-purpose field

The Recreation Center serves as home base for the recreational and athletic programs of the Home. All programs stress fun and participation over competition.

Teaching young people appropriate leisure time activities is essential in their overall progression through the program. Year round organized intramural sports programming and an excellent outdoor education recreation program are highlights of the recreation program.
