Cooper Farm Picnic Grounds sits on top of a hill directly behind The Omaha Home for Boys Watson 4-H Barn and Cooper Village.  Since 1952 thousands of guests have visited the facility, located at 8602 Mormon Bridge Road, for gatherings and celebrations.

The Pavilion is open to the general public.  Reservations are accepted by phone beginning the first business day of February for that year.  FYI, typically, almost all weekends are booked by the end of the first day!

Additional Notes:

• Available 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. from May 1 through mid-October.
• Available for morning or afternoon bookings.
• There are 25 large picnic tables available.
• Inside there is a kitchen with a pass-through window for serving plus three electric flat grills, work tables, a refrigerator and utility sinks with hot and cold running water.
• Outside there are two large charcoal grills (charcoal not provided) and a large livestock-watering tank for icing down soft drinks.
• A sand volleyball court with net is available plus two horseshoe pits, a baseball diamond and playground equipment for the little ones (merry-go-round, swings, seesaws and slide). Please bring your own volleyballs, baseballs, bats, horseshoes, etc.
• Two fireplaces are located inside the Pavilion for use in chilly weather. Please bring your own firewood.
• Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages are allowed on the grounds.
• Guests are asked to confine their activities to the area within the fence (Cooper Farm is a working cattle farm with a range herd ).
• Guests are asked to clean up after themselves and put their trash in the dumpster following their picnic. Trash bags are provided.
• Loud music is not allowed as we have a “good neighbor policy” with our neighbors.
• No water balloons.
• The restrooms in the pavilion are handicap accessible.

Costs:

$50 for half days, Monday through Thursday evenings and $100 for half days on weekends which includes Friday nights. These fees cover our reservation and maintenance costs. Public Schools and OHB employees are charged $25 per half day, and $50 per half day on the weekend, including Friday afternoon.
