Thanks, But ...

Over the years the Home has been lucky to make good friends with people from all across the United States. And the staff does its best to keep track of the very special people who support needy boys.

So, when the Home recently received a $100 bill from a donor in Massachusetts we were concerned. The donor was a long-time friend of the boys, regularly making gifts several times a year. But a $100 was well above her normal gift.

After checking our records, the Development Department called the donor and learned that she had recently lost the $100 – and her rent was due soon!

Happy to help, the Home returned the $100 bill. A few days later she sent in another gift – at five times the amount of her normal donation – and a nice card thanking the Home.

Special people helping special children ... The Home is proud to count them – and you – among our friends.
